Thermostandard is reference information for comparing thermostats and HVAC controls. It isn't HVAC, electrical or building-code advice.

Compatibility statements and ratings come from makers and stores and can change. The thermostat's manual and the maker's own compatibility checker are the final word, and checker results depend on the wires and figures you enter.

Turn off power before touching thermostat wiring. Line-voltage thermostats carry household voltage that can kill; use a licensed electrician if you're unsure. Work inside furnaces, air handlers, boilers and heat pumps belongs with an HVAC technician.

Product names, model numbers and images belong to their owners. Store links are a convenience; stores set their own prices, stock and terms.
